Rev 19:18 “that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.” Rev 19:17,21; Eze 29:5; 32:4; 39:4,17;

Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. Eze 38:16; 39:1-20; Joel 3:2-5; Zeph 3:8; Zech 14:1-5;

1st WAR
1st Beast – Gathering armies

Eze 38:16; And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

Eze 39:1 Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: 2 And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: 3 And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand. 4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that [is] with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and [to] the beasts of the field to be devoured. 5 Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken [it], saith the Lord GOD. 6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I [am] the LORD. 7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not [let them] pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I [am] the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. 8 Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this [is] the day whereof I have spoken. 9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years: 10 So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down [any] out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD. 11 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the [noses] of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call [it] The valley of Hamongog. 12 And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land. 13 Yea, all the people of the land shall bury [them]; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD. 14 And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search. 15 And the passengers [that] pass through the land, when [any] seeth a man’s bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog. 16 And also the name of the city [shall be] Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land. 17 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, [even] a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. 18 Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. 19 And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. 20 Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.

Zech 14:Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. 4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5 And ye shall flee [to] the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, [and] all the saints with thee.

Zeph 3:8; Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination [is] to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, [even] all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

Chapter 19:20-21 beast captured, false prophet captured and cast alive into the lake of fire.

CHAPTER 20

Satan, the Dragon is jailed for 1000 yrs. There seems to be no explanation, at this time, for why God would release Satan for a season. It might have been part of some contract or law, certainly we have not been told or at least comprehended. Gog and Magog gathered to battle and God devours them, and they are cast into the lake of fire, forever. Perhaps Gog and Magog were also the princes of the 1st war. There is no explanation of the 1000 year reign. Rather, we do not see the explanation for the 1000 yr reign of Christ and the release of Satan for a season.

Rev 20:1 THEN I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. Rev 3:7; Isa 22:22; 24:21-23;

Key to Bottomless pit

Isa 22:22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

Isa 24:21-23 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones [that are] on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. And they shall be gathered together, [as] prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited. Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

Rev 20:2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; Rev 9:2,11; 11:7; 12:3,9,13: 13:1; 17:3,8,16; 19:20; 20:2,3,10; Psa 90:4; 2 Peter 3:8;

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Rev 20:3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. Rev 9:2,11; 11:7; 12:3,9,13; 13:1; 17:3,8; 19:20; 20:3,10; Isa 14:9,15; Isa 38:18; Dan 7:12; Psa 90:4; 2 Peter 3:8;

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Rev 16:2; 19:20; 20:4,12,13,15; Matt 25:32; Lk 1:32; John 12:31; 1 Cor 11:32; 2 Cor 5:10;

Note: ‘they sat on them,’ meaning (Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed) the 24 elders of verse 19:4. Which I still contend no one knows who the 24 elders are.

Isa 9:7; Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Isa 35:4; Say to them [that are] of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come [with] vengeance, [even] God [with] a recompence; he will come and save you.

Isa 66:13; As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

Eze 9:4; And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

Eze 36:28; And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Lk 1:32; He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

John 12:31; Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

1 Cor 11:32; But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

2 Cor 5:10; For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad.

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Psa 90:4; Zech 14:16-19; 2 Peter 3:8; Zech 14:16-19;

1000 yrs

1st Resurrection – dead did not live

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. Rev 1:6; 5:10; 20:6; Ex 19:6; Isa 61:6; Eze 36:24-28; Dan 7:27; Jer 30:16-24; 1 Pet 2:5,9-10;

First Resurrection – Blessed and Holy, Priests of God, 1000 yrs. THE CHURCHALL WHO BELIEVE IN CHRIST! The Word of God will still be being read! For when the 1000 yrs are finished there will be the 2nd war, Final War! Those living in those 1000 yrs will be as aware of the 2nd war coming as we are today aware of Armageddon and the Rapture! Ezekiel 38 and 39 will be able to be read and understood!

Ex 19:6; “and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words that you shall speak to the people of Israel.”

Isa 61:6; but you shall be called the priests of the Lord; they shall speak of you as the ministers of our God; you shall eat the wealth of the nations, and in their glory you shall boast.

Eze 36:24“I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land.” 25“I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you.” 26“And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”27 “And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.” 28“You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.”

Dan 7:27; And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom [is] an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

Zech 14:16And it shall come to pass, [that] every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. 17And it shall be, [that] whoso will not come up of [all] the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. 18And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that [have] no [rain]; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. 19This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

1 Pet 2:5you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 9But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

BABYLON (Scofield, C. I. “Scofield Reference Notes on Isaiah 13″. “Scofield Reference Notes (1917 Edition)”. <http://www.studylight.org/com/srn/view.cgi?book=isa&chapter=013>. 1917.) The city, Babylon is not in view here, as the immediate context shows. It is important to note the significance of the name when used symbolically. “Babylon” is the Greek form: invariably in the O.T. Hebrew the word is simply Babel, the meaning of which is confusion, and in this sense the word is used symbolically. (1) In the prophets, when the actual city is not meant, the reference is to the “confusion” into which the whole social order of the world has fallen under Gentile world-domination. (See “Times of the Gentiles,” Luke 21:24Revelation 16:14Isaiah 13:4 gives the divine view of the welter of warring Gentile powers. The divine order is given in Isa. 11. Israel in her own land, the centre of the divine government of the world and channel of the divine blessing; and the Gentiles blessed in association with Israel. Anything else is, politically, mere “babel.” (2) In Revelation 14:8-1116:19 the Gentile world-system is in view in connection with Armageddon; Revelation 16:1419:21 while in Rev 17, the reference is to apostate Christianity, destroyed by the nations Revelation 17:16 headed up under the Beast ; Daniel 7:8Revelation 19:20 and false prophet. In Isaiah the political Babylon is in view, literally as to the then existing city, and symbolically as to the times of the Gentiles. In the Revelation both the symbolical- political and symbolical-religious Babylon are in view, for there both are alike under the tyranny of the Beast. Religious Babylon is destroyed by political Babylon Revelation 17:16 political Babylon by the appearing of the Lord Revelation 19:19-21. That Babylon the city is not to be rebuilt is clear from ; Isaiah 13:19-22Jeremiah 51:24-26,62-64. By political Babylon is meant the Gentile world-system. (See “World,” ; John 7:7Revelation 13:8) It may be added that, in Scripture symbolism, Egypt stands for the world as such; Babylon for the world of corrupt power and corrupted religion; Nineveh for the pride, the haughty glory of the world.
