chapter 3

The world is entering the 5th Church time period and when the 5th seal is opened (6:9) we see heaven, under the altar, all the souls slain for the word of God crying out, ‘How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?’ We are seeing Christians martyred around the world! We are crying out to our Lord!

Chapter 3

*Rev 3:1 “AND to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.’ ” Rev 1:4, 12, 16, 20; 2:1; 3:1; 4:5; 5:6; 6:9; 15:1, 7; 5th Church 5th Seal – **Rapture (Happens same time as 4:1; 6:9; – *The Rapture! 1st Trumpet (8:7) – War ! Rev 6: 9When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held 10And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both [the number of] their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they [were], was completed. Rev 3:2 “Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God.” Rev 3:3“Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. They have mingled with Gentiles to the point of not being Jews any more, tho they claim to be.] Rev 3:10 “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” Rev 7:14-17; Excellent article on the rapture: A reference to the rapture? http://flashtrafficblog.wordpress.com/2014/10/05/hollywood-tackles-the-end-times-with-left-behind-film-but-is-the-rapture-a-biblical-concept-or-a-fictional-plot-device/ Rev 3:11 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Rev 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. (This verse is the basis of this soul believing and writing this. Today, this soul wants to give you another angle to understanding this mystery.) John 1:1; In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Col 1:15-20, 26-27; Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] He might have the preeminence. For it pleased [the Father] that in Him should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, [I say], whether [they be] things in earth, or things in heaven. [Even] the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then [I saw] the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received [his] mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Rev 3:15“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.” Rev 3:16“So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” note: remember Dr. Heiser’s words to us: For my part . . . . I have read Dr. Michael Heiser’s books “The Unseen Realm,” and “Angels,” followed him on, [https://drmsh.com/ ]and listened to his podcasts, [https://nakedbiblepodcast.com/] which means, I needed to add some of his comments and remove my own. Just one quote, page 147, buy it and read them yourselves. “Angels,” Chapter 7, pages 141 through 147; “It is noteworthy that each of these instances contains the same statement that makes it clear that the intended audience of these calls for repentance is the churchnot the angel through whom the message is mediated. Each passage ends with the statement, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Rev 2:7, 11, 17).” “The text makes it clear that the risen Christ is speaking to the congregations, composed as they are of human believers. The angel is not the church; the angel is a communicative surrogate for the church. Consequently, the angel is not the target audience for the calls to repent. Moreover, there is no indication that the angel surrogates are fallen and estranged from God. Rather, in concert with the model of Michael, Israel’s patron angel, we have every reason to believe these angels are faithful members of the heavenly host….” Rev 3:17 “Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked” Rev 3:18“I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.” Rev 3:5; 3:18; 4:4; 6:11; 7:9,13,14; 15:6; 19:8,14; Ex 28:2; Lev 16:4; Isa 55:1; 61:10; Dan 7:9; Ex 28:2; And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty. Lev 16:4; He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be attired: these [are] holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and [so] put them on. Isa 55:1; Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Isa 61:10; I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh [himself] with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth [herself] with her jewels. Dan 7:9; I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment [was] white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne [was like] the fiery flame, [and] his wheels [as] burning fire. Rev 3:19 “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.” Rev 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” Luke 13:25; Luke 13:25; When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’ Rev 3:21 “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” Rev 3:22“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Will continue to add chapters, a work in progress. BABYLON (Scofield, C. I. “Scofield Reference Notes on Isaiah 13″. “Scofield Reference Notes (1917 Edition)”. <http://www.studylight.org/com/srn/view.cgi?book=isa&chapter=013>. 1917.) The city, Babylon is not in view here, as the immediate context shows. It is important to note the significance of the name when used symbolically. “Babylon” is the Greek form: invariably in the O.T. Hebrew the word is simply Babel, the meaning of which is confusion, and in this sense the word is used symbolically. (1) In the prophets, when the actual city is not meant, the reference is to the “confusion” into which the whole social order of the world has fallen under Gentile world-domination. (See “Times of the Gentiles,” Luke 21:24Revelation 16:14Isaiah 13:4 gives the divine view of the welter of warring Gentile powers. The divine order is given in Isa. 11. Israel in her own land, the centre of the divine government of the world and channel of the divine blessing; and the Gentiles blessed in association with Israel. Anything else is, politically, mere “babel.” (2) In Revelation 14:8-1116:19 the Gentile world-system is in view in connection with Armageddon; Revelation 16:1419:21 while in Rev 17, the reference is to apostate Christianity, destroyed by the nations Revelation 17:16 headed up under the Beast ; Daniel 7:8Revelation 19:20 and false prophet. In Isaiah the political Babylon is in view, literally as to the then existing city, and symbolically as to the times of the Gentiles. In the Revelation both the symbolical- political and symbolical-religious Babylon are in view, for there both are alike under the tyranny of the Beast. Religious Babylon is destroyed by political Babylon Revelation 17:16 political Babylon by the appearing of the Lord Revelation 19:19-21. That Babylon the city is not to be rebuilt is clear from ; Isaiah 13:19-22Jeremiah 51:24-26,62-64. By political Babylon is meant the Gentile world-system. (See “World,” ; John 7:7Revelation 13:8) It may be added that, in Scripture symbolism, Egypt stands for the world as such; Babylon for the world of corrupt power and corrupted religion; Nineveh for the pride, the haughty glory of the world.
