BABYLON, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen

BABYLON
Revelation 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

Isa 21:9 And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, [with] a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.

Jer 51:8 Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.

Rev 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

Rev 18:10Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. 17For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,19And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

Rev 17:1Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment {Chap 18} of the great harlot {17:5 MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH}{ the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”Babylon”} who sits on many waters {15 Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.}{the kings and the inhabitants of the earth}{Rev 12:3And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.} {Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand year}
2 “with whom the kings of the earth {3 The Scarlet Beast}{15 Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.}{Rev 12:3And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.} {Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand year}committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”
3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman {17:5 MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH}{18 the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”Babylon} sitting on a scarlet beast {2 the kings of the earth} [which was] full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. {12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast.}{Rev 12:3.9And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.} {Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand year}
4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.
5 And on her forehead a name [was] written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6 I saw the woman, {17:5 MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH}{ the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”Babylon} drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.
7 But the angel said to me, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman {17:5 MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH}{18  the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”Babylon}{3And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast [which was] full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns}and of the beast {3 a scarlet beast}that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. {3And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast [which was] full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns}

8″I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, [were] eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.

1/5/16 http://www.timesofisrael.com/in-the-iran-saudi-arabia-conflict-a-clash-of-civilizations/ The cold war between the two regional powers is likely to heat up, reviving an age-old sectarian war between Sunni and Shiite Islam in which every country and group in the Middle East will have to choose a side.
Consider the list: Lebanon, where for more than a year and a half there has been no president, partly because of the tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran; Yemen, where a civil war is being waged with the direct intervention of Saudi forces and Iranian advisers; Syria, of course, where Iran’s Revolutionary Guards are fighting militias funded by Riyadh; Iraq (which is in many ways similar to Syria in that regard); and even the West Bank, where the Iranians give financial support to the Islamic Jihad, to the A-Sabireen movement in Gaza and, to a limited extent, to Hamas.
And indeed, nearly all the actors in the Middle Eastern arena now understand that the Iranian declarations are not hollow and that Tehran will try to give them substance in the form of an attack on the Saudi kingdom.
Any revenge attack via Shiite actors will draw a Saudi response. Which means, as the London-based site Al Araby Al Jadeed wrote Monday, the cold war will heat up suddenly into a more much more dangerous confrontation between the two countries.
It has to be said that this crisis, which is likely to lead to a clash of the two civilizations, Shiite and Sunni, does not come as much of a shock.
Hamas is not alone. From now on, the name of the game in our region is that every country or organization will have to choose a side. The Israeli-Arab conflict no longer interests decision-makers in Riyadh or Cairo; rather the battle for the future of the Middle East between Shiites and Sunnis occupies center stage.
Almost 1,400 years have passed since the first battles broke out within the Muslim world between the inheritors of the Prophet Muhammad, which led to the schism between Shiites and Sunnis, and it seems little has changed here: We are returning to the same very old sectarian war, which is likely to lead to severe ongoing bloodshed that will once again shape the face of the region.
**1/5/16 http://defensetech.org/2016/01/04/u-s-navy-plans-to-fly-first-drone-swarm-this-summer/ The U.S. Navy is a leader in the area of swarm warfare, (LOCUST) the threat has been analyzed in a number of papers from the Naval Postgraduate School analyze the threat. Some of these are classified, but a 2012 paper by Loc Pham, “UAV Swarm Attack”  is open and makes uncomfortable reading.
Chung is staging a contest for swarms of small drones carry out simulated battles as a way of evaluating tactics and technology. His basic scenario is a 50-versus-50 encounter in which the Blue defenders attempt to stop Red attackers from getting through. Nobody knows much about drone-versus-drone combat yet, especially on this scale. How much autonomy do the drones need? How can the swarm commander stay in control in a fast-moving action?  How do quality and quantity balance out in battling swarms?
With manned aircraft, the pilot’s life counts for a lot; but swarming drones are expendable and high “casualties” do not matter. This is a very different world to the dogfights we have seen before.
The battles will be fought with small drones even cheaper than those used in LOCUST, but the tactics they discover may shape the future of warfare.
When a swarm of drones heads for an American carrier some time in the future, they might be intercepted by a defensive swarm. What happens next — whether the aircraft on the carrier’s deck are destroyed, or whether the attackers are beaten off — will depend on which side has the best grasp of an entirely new form of warfare.

***7/8/18 https://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/248577 Disappointment in UAE – Qatar remains committed to terror.
UAE foreign minister says crisis between Qatar and gulf states, Egypt will not be solved soon due to Qatar’s support for terror.
Anwar Gargash, United Arab Emirates State Minister for Foreign Affairs, published an article in which he asserted that the crisis with Qatar cannot conclude soon, as Qatar still supports terror.
The article was written by Gargash in the Saudi daily Al-Hayat and titled “Qatar – a year of shattered dreams.” In the article, translated and disseminated by MEMRI, Gargash argued that the crisis with Qatar was not created ex nihilo but crystallized after years in which Qatar acted opportunistically to consolidate its regional status while undermining the security of the region, undermining the stability of its neighbors and violating the agreements with them.
He said that today, a year after the crisis, there is no hope of resolving the crisis in the foreseeable future, because Qatar, despite its isolation and despite the harm caused to it by the crisis, has not changed its ways and continues to support terrorism and extremism and undermine regional stability. Gargash reiterated that the crisis will be solved only after Qatar changes its conduct on these matters. He said that even if Qatar did commit to doing so, it would be required to present guarantees, since the Gulf states have no confidence in the Qatari leadership.
“Today, one year after [the outbreak of] the crisis with Qatar, we understand that the main factors that led to the crisis still persist, and that they cannot be dealt with without addressing Qatar’s support of extremism and terror and unless Qatar stops harming others. But experience teaches us that the solution requires guarantees, for we have no faith in the Qatari leadership, especially after the 2013-2014 [Qatar crisis] and considering the wrangling and deception that characterized Qatar’s handling of the crisis over the past year,” he wrote.
MEMRI noted that just over a year ago, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Bahrain announced that they were severing ties with Qatar, claiming that it supported Iran and various terrorist organizations and sought to undermine the stability of various Arab countries.

The emirate of Dubai is located on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf and is one of the seven emirates that make up the country. It has the largest population in the UAE (2,106,177) and the second-largest land territory (4,114 km2) after the capital, Abu Dhabi.[4] Abu Dhabi and Dubai are the only two emirates to have veto power over critical matters of national importance in the country’s legislature.[5] The city of Dubai is located on the emirate’s northern coastline and heads up the Dubai-Sharjah-Ajman metropolitan area. Dubai is often misperceived as a country or city-state and, in some cases, the UAE as a whole has been described as ‘Dubai’

Abu Dhabi (Sunni) houses important offices of the federal government, and is the seat for the UAE (United Arab Emirates Government) and the home for the Abu Dhabi Emiri Family and the President of the UAE from this family. Abu Dhabi has grown to be a cosmopolitan metropolis. Its rapid development and urbanisation, coupled with the relatively high average income of its population, has transformed Abu Dhabi to a larger and advanced metropolis. Today the city is the country’s center of politicalindustrial activities, and a major cultural, and commercial centre due to its position as the capital. America(Neutral) is not mentioned in the Bible. It would be reasonable to assume then America has no role in the ‘last days’ playing out. Thus, if America were to prosper and continue affecting the governments, politics and wars it would never play out the way God purposes it to be. Therein the results of American politics has well played into the purpose of God. There is no need for President Trump to even announce that the United States is pulling out of the deal. Iran killed the agreement through its own willful actions and blatant lies, even before the deal was officially implemented on Jan. 16, 2016.
President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry – who negotiated the nuclear deal with Iran and the European Union, Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany – heaped praise on the agreement when it was reached in July 2015, ignoring its fatal flaws.
The premise of the deal, which was designed to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons, was simple: Iran agreed to restrictions on its nuclear activities and said it would provide the International Atomic Energy Agency with a full accounting of its past military activities – meaning its secret efforts to develop nuclear weapons.
In exchange for Iran accepting these restriction and disclosure requirements, the international community agreed to lift crippling economic sanctions on the Islamic Republic. Doing this pumped an estimated $100 billion and $150 billion into the coffers of the Iranian regime. It was as if Iran hit the jackpot in the richest lottery in the world – quite a victory.

UN – (Mixed/leans Shi’ite) **6/5/18 https://www.debka.com/iran-to-increase-uranium-enrichment-us-israeli-strike-on-nuclear-facilities-comes-closer/ Iran is to inform the UN nuclear watchdog in Vienna on Tuesday, June 6, of its decision to increase uranium (UF6) enrichment capacity in response to the US exit from the 2015 nuclear accord. Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi, announcing this, did not mention a date for this process to begin or the grade of enrichment. Supreme ruler Ayatollah Khamenei’s said Monday night: “I have ordered Iran’s atomic energy agency to be prepared to upgrade our (uranium) enrichment capacity” if the 2015 nuclear deal with the world powers falls apart after the US withdrawal. Chairman Ali Akhbar Salehi of the atomic organization forecast this development some days ago.
5/30/17  http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/230361  The Palestinian Authority (PA) on Monday urged the UN Security Council to take action to protect Jerusalem from Israeli attempts to “Judaize” the city, the Ma’an news agency reported.
The statement came a day after the Israeli Cabinet held its weekly meeting in the Western Wall tunnels instead of in the Knesset in order to honor Jerusalem Day, which was celebrated last week.
During the meeting, the ministers approved several projects important for Israel’s capital, including two projects intended to make the Western Wall more accessible for wheelchairs.
The PA bureau in charge of foreign affairs on Tuesday condemned Israel’s “Judaization campaign” in eastern Jerusalem, including a cable car project approved by the Cabinet at Sunday’s meeting and the planned construction of elevators and passages connecting the Western Wall to Jewish-majority neighborhoods in Jerusalem.
The Cabinet meeting in Jerusalem raised the ire of the Secretary General of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Saeb Erekat, who said on Sunday that the “meeting in Occupied East Jerusalem is an attempt by the Israeli government to normalize occupation, oppression and colonization over the land and the people of Palestine.”
4/30/17 http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/228851 Israel asks UN for permission to inspect Armon Hanatziv compound.
State asks for delay in response to petition against illegal construction by UN in Jerusalem, seeks to tour compound with UN permission.
The Jerusalem District Court last week ordered the Jerusalem Municipality and the Israel Land Authority to respond to the petition filed last week by Regavim against the United Nations over an illegal construction boom at the UN headquarters in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood, which belongs to the State of Israel.
The state, for its part, has filed a request for an additional postponement to the Jerusalem District Court, which indicates that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been in contact with various elements of the UN, and has asked the UN to allow a visit by professional bodies on behalf of the State of Israel.
The representatives of the Foreign Ministry also held a preliminary visit to the site, during which UN representatives claimed that the construction work currently under way without building permits from the Jerusalem Municipality and without the consent of the State of Israel belongs to the area, as “arising from the need for essential renovations in the historic building, which was erected in 1929.”
The state explained its request for an additional period, also because of “the need to formulate the State’s position on the legal aspects [of the case], including aspects relating to the immunity of the UN, as well as the need to further clarify the factual basis and the continuation of diplomatic contacts with the UN.”
The suit filed by the Regavim movement last month noted the flood of serious building violations committed by the UN in recent years, including concrete castings in the historic building, the construction of an illegal multi-story office building, a hangar storage and a pirate gas station that is also an environmental hazard.
After the liberation of Jerusalem, the Israeli government gave UNTSO, a UN agency, the right to use the area, free of charge, to supervise the cease-fire between Israel and its neighbors after the war.
The United Nations agencies UNTSO and UNSCO are currently operating in the compound, alongside the office of UN envoy to the Middle East Nikolai Maldanov, who is conducting blatant and hostile anti-Israel activity and which Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman has proposed to boycott.
At the end of last week, it was announced that during the celebration of Israel’s 69th Independence Day in Jerusalem, the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization is expected to adopt a resolution according to which the State of Israel is not the sovereign in Jerusalem. Last year, the UNESCO Executive Committee adopted the PA proposal which denied the Jewish connection to the Temple Mount and the Western Wall, a decision that caused great anger in the Israeli government. GCC – (Mixed) **6/1/17 https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201706011054177699-trump-anti-iran-coalition-crumbles/ The enemy of my enemy is my friend, but Iran doesn’t seem to be the enemy of all US allies. Qatari state media sources claimed that Qatar’s emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani cautioned against butting heads with Tehran, and have expressed support for Iran-backed groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah.
This brings Qatar into conflict with the Saudis and the United Arab Emirates, both of whom consider Iran to be their primary foe. Doha claimed that the report was falsified, but the Saudis didn’t buy it and continuously decried Qatar in their own state-run media. “Doha’s insistence in denying the issue is marginal because in reality, on the ground, Qatar confirms it adopts the policies that it is now trying to deny,” read a Monday editorial in Saudi-owned newspaper Al-Hayat.
Qatar has always been the black sheep of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC): while the Kingdom and the UAE consider the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist group, Qatar has traditionally backed them. When the Brotherhood seized control of Egypt after the 2011 Arab Spring, this caused a ripple effect that has soured Qatar’s relationship with the Saudis and Emiratis.
Some analysts have claimed that Trump’s recent statements have opened the floodgates to renew an old regional rivalry. “When Trump gave fulsome support in Riyadh and said, ‘let’s isolate Iran’ that sent a signal to the UAE and Saudi, which felt emboldened and said: let’s let loose everything we have on Qatar,” said Gerd Nonneman, professor of International Relations and Gulf Studies at Georgetown University in Qatar.
With dissent in the ranks of their rivals, Iran is laughing their way to the bank. Pro-government Iranian newspaper Kayhan wrote that the bickering was evidence of the Saudis inability to “form an alliance.
A US diplomat in Doha worried that, if the row continues, “the GCC could harm it own interests in this fight and is at risk of becoming more vulnerable to Iranian encroachment.” Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani will be meeting with Saudi emir counterpart Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah in Kuwait to try to ease tensions.
The hesitation wasn’t limited to Qatar. Iraqi foreign minister Ibrahim al-Ja’afari said that his country “would never join the anti-Iran coalition” in an interview with Spanish newspaper ABC. Instead he pointed to Turkey, which he accused of illegally maintaining a military presence in Iraq since 2015. Iran, the old enemy of Iraq, is a comparatively insignificant challenge according to al-Ja’afari.
Twenty-five hundred miles away in Pakistan, Islamabad has been unreceptive to Saudi and American offers to join an anti-Iran alliance. Pakistan’s government initially was happy to participate in the Saudi-led Islamic Military Alliance against Terrorism (IMAT), but they pumped the brakes on that decision when the Saudis suggested IMAT would counter Iran as well.

OIC – Arab League, Organization of Islamic Cooperation
Iyad bin Amin Madani  Secretary General of OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) plans to visit the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and meet with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
Leaders of Muslim nations met in Rabat to establish the OIC on 25 September 1969.
The OIC adopted the Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam to serve as a guidance for the member states in the matters of human rights in as much as they are compatible with the Sharia, or Quranic Law.
An official from the pan-Arab bloc told AFP Arabi had “instructed the Arab League’s UN representative to initiate urgent consultations within the Arab group calling for an emergency security meeting of the Security Council.”
An international organization founded in 1969 consisting of 57 member states. The organisation states that it is “the collective voice of the Muslim world” and works to “safeguard and protect the interests of the Muslim world in the spirit of promoting international peace and harmony”. The OIC has permanent delegations to the United Nations and the European Union. The official languages of the OIC are Arabic, English, and French. –  ***12/13/17 https://www.timesofisrael.com/erdogan-seeks-to-galvanize-muslim-leaders-over-jerusalem/ Turkish president hopes to unite leaders in tough response to Trump’s recognition of Israeli capital
ISTANBUL (AFP) — Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday chairs an emergency summit of the world’s main pan-Islamic body, seeking to marshal Muslim leaders towards a coordinated response to the US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
Erdogan, whose country holds the rotating chairmanship of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will be hoping to unite often feuding Muslim leaders into a tough final statement on the move by US President Donald Trump.
But bridging the gaps in a Muslim political community that includes arch rivals Sunni Saudi Arabia and Shiite Iran will be a far from easy task let alone announcing any concrete sanctions agreed between the 57 OIC member states.
At a joint press conference after talks in Ankara late Monday, Erdogan said he and Russian President Vladimir Putin had taken a similar approach on the issue, accusing Israel of continuing to “add fuel to the flames.”
4/16/16 http://www.timesofisrael.com/islamic-summit-raps-iran-over-terror-support/ President Hassan Rouhani ditches final session in protest of OIC’s criticism of Tehran’s ‘interference in the internal affairs’ of Mideast states. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, who had been at the two-day Istanbul conference along with over 30 other heads of state and government from Islamic countries, did not attend the closing meeting in protest at the criticisms.
“The (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) Conference deplored Iran’s interference in the internal affairs of the States of the region and other Member States including Bahrain, Yemen, Syria, and Somalia, and its continued support for terrorism,” said the summit’s final statement.
