Jihad, Jihadists

Isa 10:5 O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.
Zephaniah 3:8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination [is] to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, [even] all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

10/12/16 http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4865691,00.html The Lebanese Shi’ite movement Hezbollah vowed to maintain its “jihad” in neighboring Syria at a huge rally in Beirut on Wednesday, a day after its leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said the war was in a phase of escalation.
Addressing thousands marking Shi’ite Islam’s annual Ashura religious commemoration in a heavily secured square in Hezbollah’s south Beirut stronghold, Nasrallah said the war in Syria was being fought in defense of the whole region.
In a speech on Tuesday, Nasrallah asserted the Middle East was in a phase of escalating tension and there appeared to be no prospect of a political solution to the war in Syria.
Many of them wore photographs of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei – also recognized by Hezbollah as Shi’ite Islam’s ultimate authority – tucked into headbands that carried religious slogans
9/30/16 https://sputniknews.com/politics/20160930/1045851742/us-russia-syria-cooperation.html The possible refusal of the United States to cooperate with Russia on the Syrian crisis settlement will become the best present for terrorists operating in the Arab republic, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Thursday.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, US Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power said that the activities of the Syrian army supported by Russia’s Aerospace Forces were a “gift” to the terrorist groups such as Daesh and al-Nusra Front, now known as Jabhat Fateh al Sham. “If we speak about the ‘gifts to terrorists,’ then of course it is a convergence of the Nusra Front and ‘moderate opposition,’ the deliveries of humanitarian aid to the militants and the bombing of the Syrian army fighting against IS [Daesh]. However, the best gift [for jihadists] would be Washington’s refusal to cooperate with Russia on Syria’s settlement,” Zakharova wrote on her Facebook account.
9/25/16 http://www.rawstory.com/2016/09/the-feud-between-al-qaeda-and-the-islamic-state/ When al-Zawahiri ordered the Islamic State to confine itself to Iraqi matters, the Islamic State refused. Al-Zawahiri responded by divorcing Al-Qaeda from the Islamic State; the State denied they had ever been married in the first place. Two years of bloodshed and acrimony followed, particularly after the Islamic State proclaimed itself the caliphate reborn and demanded that Al Qaeda and all other Muslims obey its commands.
From time to time, al-Zawahiri has held out an olive branch, saying he would fight alongside the Islamic State if he were in Iraq. But he refuses to recognize the statelet as a caliphate and dismisses it as a front for former Saddam loyalists. The Islamic State dismisses al-Zawahiri as a has-been and deems the Al-Qaeda project a failure compared to the achievements of the caliphate.
The feud between Al-Qaeda and the Islamic State is playing out on the global stage. The State orchestrates and inspires attacks in the West to rival those of Al-Qaeda. It sets up local chapters in the countries where Al Qaeda has franchised. The competition is not only for recruits but also for custody of the jihadist enterprise to establish Islamic states: the brawling, winner-take-all Islamic State versus the cerebral and cooperative Al-Qaeda. The world suffers while the feud endures.

Daesh terrorists have attacked a joint troop location with the deadly gas in Iraq’s Qayarrah, CNN reported.
9/21/16 http://therightscoop.com/breaking-u-s-officials-say-isis-deployed-chemical-weapons-against-american-troops/ ISIS is suspected of firing a shell with mustard agent that landed at the Qayarrah air base in Iraq Tuesday where US and Iraqi troops are operating, according to several US officials.
The shell was categorized by officials as either a rocket or artillery shell. After it landed on the base, just south of Mosul, US troops tested it and received an initial reading for a chemical agent they believe is mustard.
No US troops were hurt or have displayed symptoms of exposure to mustard agent.
One official said the agent had “low purity” and was “poorly weaponized.” A second official called it “ineffective.”

The man made references to Allah and asked at least one person if they were Muslim before he assaulted them at the Crossroads Center mall in St. Cloud.
“The executor of the stabbing attacks in Minnesota yesterday was a soldier of the Islamic State and carried out the operation in response to calls to target the citizens of countries belonging to the crusader coalition,” Amaq said in a statement. A man wearing a private security uniform wounded eight people in a knife attack on Saturday at a mall in central Minnesota before he was shot dead by an off-duty police officer, authorities said.
9/18/16 http://www.jpost.com/Breaking-News/Captives-held-by-ISIS-in-the-Philippines-released-468071 The Philippine military insists the release of the kidnap victims was a result of the ongoing intensified military operations against the Abu Sayyaf, with the assistance of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), one of the two major Muslim rebel groups based in the south of the mainly Catholic nation. A new round of peace talks between the Philippine government and the Maoist-led rebels resumed in Norway in August to end nearly five decades of conflict that has killed more than 40,000 people

“You can sacrifice without hesitation these organizational and party ties if they conflict with your unity and working as one body,” al-Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahri said in an audio statement directed to the Nusra Front.

7/27/16 http://sputniknews.com/analysis/20160727/1043689210/europe-terrorism-culture-religious-connection-analysis.html Moscow, Syromolotov noted, also regrets the “notorious double standards” many Western countries continue to show in dividing the terrorists into categories of ‘bad’ and ‘not all that bad’, and their use for geopolitical schemes aimed at interfering with, destabilizing and attempting to topple ‘undesirable regimes’. At the same time, the academic noted, “the tragedy” of contemporary Europe lies in the fact that the intransigent, extremist organizations have begun to use this European kindness, this tolerance, for their own purposes…And this is a tragedy not just of Europe as it is the entirety of human civilization.” “The terrorism plaguing nineteenth century Russia demonstrated a phenomenon stemming from an illness of society. That is, ‘gaps’ emerged in society in which people collected, torn away from traditional culture, unable to adapt to the external environment in which they found themselves. In nineteenth century Europe it was the Russian radical intelligentsia which found themselves in this position. In contemporary Europe it is migrants who have broken away from traditional Islam, and have found themselves in countries which are alien to them from the very beginning.” “If Europe abandons its own civilizational-cultural and religious identity, what else this if not suicide? It’s obvious that the resources of moral and ethical self-defense have not been put into service, not to speak of physical security…Having abandoned its inherent identity, Europeans deny themselves the will to struggle for self-preservation.”
7/9/16 http://sputniknews.com/analysis/20160709/1042683723/nato-summit-military-spending-boost.html  On Friday, during the first day of the gathering, the summit approved an unprecedented Western deployment of troops and weapon systems in Eastern European countries unparalleled since the end of World War II. “The decisions reached at the summit [were]… an exercise in justifying increased military expenditure that will in no way substantively improve European security,” University of Rhode Island Political Science Professor Nikolai Petro told Sputnik on Friday.
Petro criticized the summit’s decisions as mistaken and said they would certainly not improve prospects for peace and security in Europe.
Although the decisions taken are wrongheaded, in my judgment, they do not change the actual military balance and were expected. As a result, I do not expect any perceptible change in the current rather dismal situation.”
Following the summit, Canada announced largest mil presence in Europe in more than a decade and the United States is to deploy 1,000 Troops to Poland. Also, NATO’s ballistic missile defense system in Spain, Turkey and Romania has reached initial operability.
Petro said these moves would upset Russia, but would have been anticipated by Russian policymakers, who would have already planned a response to them.
Veteran US European affairs analyst and historian Joe Lauria said the claims of a Russian threat to NATO would boost the profits of major US defense contractors.

They will join the 450 British troops already in the country, who had been due to return at the end of this year but will now have their mission extended into 2017.
The move, which comes a day after Cameron announced British troops would be sent to Eastern Europe to face the Russian army, is another setback for the beleaguered Prime Minister as he nears the end of his premiership.
Cameron had hoped to end Britain’s lengthy military involvement in the county.
