The Lamb looked slain, having 7 eyes (Zech 4:10 they [are] the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth) and the 7 horns (Rev 5:6), which are the 7 spirits of God, (5:6), which are the 7 lamps of fire (4:5), which are the 7 lampstands, which are the 7 churches, which are Christ (3:1)

Moreover I will subdue all thine enemies. Furthermore I tell thee that the LORD will build thee an house. 11 And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go [to be] with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom. 12 He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever. 13 I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took [it] from [him] that was before thee: 14 But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore. 15 According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.

Matthew 1:16
“Christ” (Christos means anointed), the Greek form of the Hebrew Messiah (See Dan 9:25-26), is the official name of our LORD, as “Jesus” is His human name (Lk. 1:31; 2:21). The name, or title, “Christ,” connects Him with the entire O.T. foreview (see Zech. 12:8, note) of a coming Prophet (Dt. 18:15-19), Priest (Ps. 110:4), and King (2 Sam. 7:12-13). As these were typically anointed with oil (1 Ki. 19:16; cp. Ex. 29:7; 1 Sam 16:13 respectively), so Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit (Mt. 3:16; Mk. 1:10-11; Lk. 3:21-22; Jn. 1:32-33), thus becoming officially identified as the Christ.
