And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.13…… Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound! Rev 8:9,13

Rev 8:6  So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.  Rev 6:8; 8:6; 13:18; Jer 30:7;

Great Trib?

Jer 30:7  Alas! for that day [is] great, so that none [is] like it: it [is] even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

Rev 8:7  The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up. Malachi 4:1;

1st Trumpet

7th Church Age Ends Rev 3:20;

5th Seal The Rapture Rev 6:7-9; 1st Beast works

Hail, fire, blood – 1/3 of earth, trees, green grass burnt up

Perhaps this trumpet is the trump for the Rapture, also. The seven years begin. Babylon headed for destruction.

Mal 4:1  For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

Rev 8:8  Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.

If we are here to see this we have misunderstood when the rapture will occur.

2nd Trumpet

A mountain was thrown into sea, 1/3 sea blood

Rev 8:9  And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

1/3 of sea blood, 1/3 creatures in sea, 1/3 of ships – destroyed

When you see 1/3 of the ships destroyed you will know we have misunderstood when the rapture will occur or you have been ‘left behind’

Rev 8:10  Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.

3rd Trumpet

Great Star fell from heaven on 1/3 rivers and water

Rev 8:11  The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.  Rev 8:11; Deut 29:18; Prov 5:4; Jer 9:15; 23:15; Lam 3:15; Amos 5:7;

Wormwood – many men died.

Deut 29:18  Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go [and] serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;

Prov 5:4  But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword.

Jer 9:15  Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, [even] this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.

Jer 23:15  Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land

Lam 3:15  He hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood.

Amos 5:7  Ye who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth,

Rev 8:12  Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.  Rev 6:12; 21:23; Isa 13:10; Eze 32:4-8; Joel 2:10,30-32; 3:15,16; Zech 14:6-7; Haggai 2:6,21; Matt 24:29; Mk 13:24; Lk 21:25; Acts 2:20;

4th Trumpet

1/3 of (Light) sun, moon, stars darkened

Isa 13:10  For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

Eze 32:7,8  And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light. All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.

Joel 2:30-32  And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

Joel 3:15  The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

Zech 14:6-7  And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the light shall not be clear, [nor] dark: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, [that] at evening time it shall be light.

Haggai 2:6,21  For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it [is] a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry [land];

Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;

Matt 24:29  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Mk 13:24  But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

Rev 8:13  And I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”

Note: Two of the three woes occur at the same time as the 5th Trumpet and 6th Trumpets.

Woe, woe, woe
